Mama Martha was here to celebrate with us. She was just in time to watch Alex learn how to blow kisses, perfect his walking and add a few more barely decipherable words to his vocabulary. She brought him a superman costume to wear to his birthday party.
We had a big BBQ at Roxbury Park with over 50 guests. (Note the superman costume and Papa's matching Tshirt!) Grandpa barbecued his famous festival chicken sandwich, was a big hit. Our fabulous nanny, Deisy, brought an amazing cake from King's Hawaiian - also a big hit. Alex got lots of love and lots of goodies. We just missed Aunt Ruthie, but are celebrating with her next weekend in Sta Cruz. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! Of course I was neglectful of the camera and only remembered to take a few shots. I'll post more as I get other footage. Grammy and Grandpa bought us a new video camera so you'll start seeing more video entries once I figure out how to use it!

Looks like so much fun, Amy! I love the superman theme, didn't realize it was on the cake, too. We are so sad we missed it, but are looking forward to seeing the little man this weekend. Love you guys! Keidi
Sounds like a great birthday! When you come up this weekend, I would love to come see you somehow!! Let me know, I live really close to Keidi, so if you go there maybe we can just walk over and say hi!
