We spent Thanksgiving in Santa Cruz with my family. We always love going up there and make sure we get out to see the sights.
A walk on West Cliff...

Alex was too busy trying to take my sunglasses off to enjoy the sights...

But he did a great job posing for pictures...

Here he is with Grammy and Aunt Jen...

Apparently Aunt Jen's sunglasses weren't as interesting?

Yummm... barbecued turkey tacos from some local hippies.

Back at Grammy and Granpa's house...

They played and played...
And even went on a trek through the woods to feed the goats...
Papa and Uncle Seth bonded over beers (there's a story here)..
We me the Lewis girls at the park one morning. Here's Alex and Adessa...

They journeyed across the covered bridge together to visit the horses...
Alex: "Please take me off the swing, Mama"
Papa and Alex and the birds at the wharf visiting the sea lions...
Alex and Granpa at Granpa's school, SJSU...We're heading to Mexico for two weeks over Christmas. It will be Alex's first trip to Mexico! We'll come back with lots of stories and photos. In other news, Alejandro just passed the citizenship test this week. He'll be sworn in sometime in the next couple months. We're happy to be done dealing with the INS.
Hope you all have a terrific Christmas! Blessings and love. We look forward to connecting again in 2010. Much love!
